Taya Riddell, M.Sc., Registered Psychologist
There is no psychologist that connects more to children and the families she works with than Taya Riddell.
She has that natural gift of just knowing what kids and teens need to hear to feel safe and secure in her care. Taya comes to Westside Child Psychology with specialized training in psychoeducational assessments from the School and Applied Child Psychology program at the University of Calgary where her training surrounded the clinical assessment and diagnosis of childhood disorders. In addition, Taya has unique experience in working with the youngest of children, both in the assessment and treatment sense. She has experience working in the early intervention of childhood disorders with organizations that implement Program Unit Funding (PUF) both in classroom and home-environment settings. Taya has collaborated and provided psychological support as part of a full team of therapists including Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Physiotherapy. Currently, Taya offers both psychological assessment, as well as treatment and counselling to children and adolescents of all ages and their families.
