Jaime Jaworski, M.Ed., Registered Psychologist
Jaime is a registered child psychologist who inherently understands children and the challenges they face.
Jaime is a graduate of the School and Applied Child Psychology program from the University of Calgary and specialized in the assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood. Jaime also received post graduate training in the identification of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) through the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), as well as training in the assessment of autism in the youngest of children (toddlers). Jaime provides treatment and counselling to her clients using acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and exposure therapy for anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Prior to coming to Westside Child Psychology as a psychologist, Jaime gained experience implementing academic interventions and offering therapy through the CanLearn Society. In addition, Jaime underwent extensive training in early literacy development, designed individualized lesson plans, and provided reading intervention to students through Calgary Reads. As a mother to two young children herself, she gets it, both personally and professionally. She offers both comprehensive diagnostic assessment and treatment to her clients.
