Mackenzie Sapacz, M.Sc. Registered Psychologist
As soon as you meet Mackenzie, you will notice her warm, energetic, and playful demeanor that instantly makes children, teens, and their families feel comfortable.
Mackenzie is a child and family psychologist who specializes in the treatment of childhood disorders and the complexity of familial dynamics. Trained in treatment and counselling from the University of Calgary, she is also a registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator. Mackenzie effortlessly connects with children and teens through talk and play and utilizes family-centered care and attachment theory to support families and children in feeling understood. Her approach focuses on helping families become more attuned to themselves and to each other. Mackenzie incorporates experience from being a clinical lead psychologist on the FSCD multi-disciplinary home team at Pacekids, as well as, from working on the Community Psychiatric Unit with Wood’s Homes (focused on crisis stabilization and parental support/family counselling for youth 9-17), and in Early Childhood Mental Health at Alberta Health Services (ages 0-5).
